The Department of School Education and Literacy has rolled out Comic Books for joyful learning and enhancing digital outreach for education. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' has launched more than 100 comic books created by teachers and students of CBSE affiliated schools and curated by the NCERT. The Board has launched this initiative to increase the cultural and social sensitivity in children while imparting knowledge. Students can access the comic books online on the DIKSHA web portal or through the DIKSHA App available on Android mobiles.
Comic books aligned to chapters of NCERT textbooks across grades 3-12 have been developed as innovative pedagogical resources. The books are developed for 16 subjects by teachers of various CBSE schools across the country.

The comics can be accessed online on DIKSHA App or web portal - diksha.gov.in. Students need to create a user profile and select CBSE/NCERT board from dropdown and then select relevant grade and access subject wise comic books.
