CBSE Collaborates With Microsoft To Offer Industry Engagement and Technology Exposure Programme

In partnership with Microsoft, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) offers a programme for CBSE students called Industry Engagement and Technology Exposure. The CBSE circular stated, "During November and December 2022, Microsoft, through its Global Learning Partners, would be hosting several virtual sessions on technology exposure and industry interaction for students.

Technology Exposure & Engagement To Students

The five-day training will be delivered online. On the portal at cbse.gov.in, teachers can register pupils on their behalf. The training will take place this month from November 12 to November 22. Students will also have the choice to participate in this programme from December 1 to 10, 2022.

The CBSE students will receive orientation on various topics, including technical fields, motivational industry speakers, career insights, entrepreneurship, and hands-on exposure to put their ideas into practice. In collaboration with Microsoft, the programme will be put into action. According to a formal announcement, Microsoft will hold several virtual seminars for students in November and December 2022 on technology exposure and industry involvement through its Global Learning Partners.

In a press statement, CBSE stated that the students would be exposed to technical fields, motivational industry speakers, career insights, entrepreneurship, and hands-on exposure to put their ideas into practice. In addition, the students will have the chance to collaborate in teams to work on smaller projects and be required to turn in projects at the end of the course.

Course For Students

According to the Board, students will get mini-challenges and assignments for constant assessment and involvement throughout the programme. After the programme, they will turn in their projects. They will also get the chance to participate in national and international competitions in coding and AI applications. The Industry Engagement and Technology Exposure Program will cover technology exposure, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and analytics, as well as coding and its applications, insights and lessons learned from practitioners' career paths, entrepreneurship-from idea to reality-and implementing creative solutions.
