CBSE Classes 9 and 11 Registration 2024-25 Starts, Check Out the Important Details Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially begun the enrollment process for students in Class 9 and Class 11 for the 2024-25 Academic Year. This crucial registration phase is a prerequisite for students to establish eligibility for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled for 2026. Schools must complete the registration process online through the Pariksha Sangam portal, available on CBSE's official website, marking a critical step towards preparing for the forthcoming board exams.

CBSE Classes 9 and 11 Registration 2024-25 Starts

The board has outlined a specific fee structure for students planning to appear in the CBSE board exams for Classes 10 and 12 in the 2025-26 session. Class 9 students are required to pay a registration fee of Rs 300, while Class 11 students must submit Rs 600. Schools and students must ensure timely registration, as missing the initial deadline will result in a late fee of Rs 2,300. The final opportunity to submit the registration, including the late fee, is October 24, 2024. It is essential to note that all payments must be made online, as CBSE no longer accepts offline payments or direct bank deposits.

To complete the registration, schools and students must first visit the official CBSE website and access the Pariksha Sangam portal. Once on the portal, users can log in or create a new account if necessary. They will then select the appropriate registration form for either Class 9 or 11, enter the required student and school details accurately, and proceed to payment using one of the available online options. After ensuring the accuracy of all details, the form can be submitted to finalize the registration.

CBSE has set specific deadlines for the registration process. The window opened on September 18, 2024, and the last date to register without incurring a late fee is October 16, 2024. However, schools can submit registrations with a late fee until October 24, 2024. School authorities must ensure all eligible students complete the process within this period to avoid any delays or complications.

Accurate submission of student information during registration is vital, as the data will be used for administering the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2026. CBSE emphasizes the importance of precision in entering student details to ensure smooth planning and execution of the exams. By following the registration process diligently, schools can contribute to a seamless and efficient examination experience for their students.

CBSE has provided a direct registration link, streamlining the process for schools to ensure timely and accurate enrollment of their students. This initiative aligns with CBSE's ongoing efforts to digitalize and simplify administrative tasks, making it easier for educational institutions and students to navigate key procedures.

The initiation of the registration process for Classes 9 and 11 is a significant milestone for students preparing for the 2026 board exams. Adhering to the deadlines and guidelines provided by CBSE is essential for schools and students to ensure a smooth registration process. With the support of the Pariksha Sangam portal, CBSE continues to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of its services, paving the way for a successful academic journey for all students.
