The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi has the announced the results of Class 12th board examination 2014 of Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram regions.
Candidates are advised to visit the CBSE website to check the results.
The CBSE has ten regional offices in India which are Delhi, Chennai, Guwahati, Ajmer, Haryana, Allahabad, Patna, Thiruvananthapuram, Odisha and Uttarakhand. Out of this, the Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram regions comprises of six states and four union territories - Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Puducherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman and Diu and Lakshdweep.
From Chennai region, a total of 42,207 (91.63%) students out of 46,062 passed the examination.
From Thiruvananthapuram region, around 33,491 (94.26%) students out of 35,529 passed the examination,
The results of the remaining regions are likely to be declared on 27th or 28th May 2014.
A total of 10,29,874 students took the class 12th examination. Out of which, 6,03,064 were boys and 4,26,810 were girls. The exams took place in 3039 centres, where 8602 schools had participated.
