CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 Tomorrow - July 28: Exam Timings & Guidelines
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026 on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, for students who were placed in the compartment category after the declaration of the Class 12 board examination results.
The supplementary examination provides students with an opportunity to clear subjects in which they could not secure the minimum qualifying marks and continue their higher education without losing an academic year.
This year, nearly 1.63 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category following the CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations 2026, which were conducted from February 17 to April 10, 2026. Candidates are advised to reach their examination centres well before the reporting time and strictly follow all instructions issued by the Board.
CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 Timings
According to the official CBSE schedule, examinations for most major academic subjects will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Candidates should carefully verify the timing mentioned on their admit card, as reporting time may vary depending on the subject.
Important Guidelines for Students
Students appearing for the supplementary examination should carry their CBSE Supplementary Admit Card 2026 along with a valid school identity card or government-issued photo ID, if required.
Candidates should report to the examination centre at least 30 to 45 minutes before the commencement of the examination to complete entry formalities. Late entry may not be permitted once the examination begins.

Students must carefully read all instructions printed on the question paper and answer booklet before attempting the examination. They should use only the permitted stationery items and avoid carrying prohibited materials such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators (unless specifically permitted), Bluetooth devices, written notes, or any electronic gadgets into the examination hall.
Candidates are advised to maintain discipline inside the examination centre and strictly follow the instructions of the invigilators. Any use of unfair means may result in cancellation of the examination.
