The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the commencement of the internal marks submission process for Class 12 students, aimed at the 2024-25 examinations. This marks a pivotal step in the exam preparation process, as schools are required to upload the internal grades for their students via a dedicated portal. The portal will remain open from January 15 until February 14, 2025.

It is essential for schools to ensure the accuracy of the internal grades they submit. CBSE has emphasized that once the marks are uploaded, they will be considered final and no modifications will be allowed thereafter. Schools are advised to double-check the entries, as this data will be critical for the students' final evaluation. This proactive step aligns with CBSE's goal of ensuring integrity and transparency in the examination process.
Exam Schedule for 2024-25: What Students Can Expect?
The CBSE board exams for the 2024-25 academic session are set to begin on February 15, 2025. For Class 10 students, exams will run from February 15 to March 18, 2025. Meanwhile, Class 12 exams are scheduled from February 15 to April 4, 2025. This ensures ample time for students to prepare for their final assessments, marking the culmination of a year's academic journey.
Streamlined Assessments
In a recent statement, CBSE officials shared, "The board examination 2024-25 related activities are in full swing with most schools conducting the practical/project/internal assessment and uploading of marks for the same." This initiative shows CBSE's commitment to maintaining a structured and well-managed assessment system for students across the country.
Schools' Responsibility for Data Integrity
The CBSE has stressed that the accuracy of data lies squarely with the schools. In their guidelines, the board underlined, "It is the school's responsibility to ensure the correctness of the data while awarding or uploading marks for practicals, internal assessments, and projects." This call to action highlights the importance of meticulous attention to detail as schools play a crucial role in upholding the integrity of the examination process.
Preparing for Exam Journey
With the internal marks submission process underway, schools and students are now gearing up for the major examination phase of the academic year. The deadlines and directives provided by the CBSE give schools a clear framework for submission. This organized approach will ensure that both schools and students are well-prepared, reducing any potential last-minute hurdles as the 2024-25 exams draw nearer.
As the exam dates approach, the CBSE's clear and structured approach, combined with the emphasis on data integrity, ensures that the board exams will be conducted smoothly, offering a fair and transparent evaluation process for all students. Schools are encouraged to complete the upload of internal grades in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring their students are fully ready for the upcoming exams.
