New Delhi: With elections announced in five states in April-May, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has changed the dates of some class 12 exams to be held in West Bengal and Assam.
According to a notice issued by the CBSE, the Class 12 Sociology exam will be held on April 23 instead of April 4 as announced earlier.
Similarly, the Sanskrit (core) and Bengali exams have been rescheduled from the earlier April 11 to April 26.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. CBSE conducts the final examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 every year, generally scheduled in the month of March, while the results of the exam are announced by the end of May.
