The entire nation is still under shock with the CBSE question papers leaking. Despite nationwide protests over the row of question paper leak, the board has released the re-exam date for the class 12 economics.
CBSE has released a press statement stating that the board has referred to the Delhi Police for a detailed investigation. It added that the criminal investigations are on. Meanwhile the board has addressed the exam date for class 12 economics.
According to the press release, "The Board would be conducting the Class XII Economics paper (Code 030) for all candidates except the students in CBSE schools located abroad. The candidates will appear from the same allotted centres using the same Admit Card. The date of the said examination will be April 25, 2018."
It further added, "As regards, Class X Mathematics (Code 041), the initial inquiries have revealed that the leak was restricted to Delhi NCR and Haryana. Details are still being worked out. In view of this, it has been decided that re-examination will not be considered for any other state except Delhi NCR and Haryana. If after a detailed inquiry it is found necessary to conduct a re-examination, it will be held in July, 2018."
"All other examinations would take place as scheduled. All are also requested to visit CBSE website for any update for any authentic information / instruction. Board has also created a mail id firstname.lastname@example.org," it concluded.
The question paper leak has affected over 2.2 million students, out of which 5 lakh candidates will take the class 12 economics on April 25, 2018. While coming to the clash of dates with other exams, a few state-level entrance examinations are scheduled around the same date. The Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is scheduled from April 22 to 25 and Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) will be conducted from April 23 to 24, 2018.
