CBSE Board Result 2024; Revaluation, Recounting and Re-verification for Class 10th and 12th

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the release of the CBSE Board 10th and 12th Results 2024. The process for CBSE Board Revaluation, Recounting, and Re-verification for the academic year 2023-24 will commence shortly, with details to be announced by board officials in due course. Students seeking re-evaluation or rechecking of their marksheet will be required to complete an application form.

According to the official circular, students dissatisfied with the marks awarded in the results have the option to apply for the verification of their marksheet, obtain a photocopy of their answer book, or request re-evaluation. Those wishing to apply for the verification of marks can do so online on cbseresults.nic.in.

How to apply for revaluation/rechecking?

  • Visit the official website cbse.gov.in.
  • Click on the 'Apply for Revaluation' link under either the 'Examinations' or 'Student' section.
  • The application form will appear on the screen; fill it with the relevant details.
  • Follow the instructions provided on the form.
  • Click on 'Submit' and proceed to pay the application fee.
  • Download the confirmation page for future reference.

According to the CBSE circular, students are permitted to request marks verification from the fourth day following the announcement of the results, with this option being accessible until the eighth day post-result declaration. However, this verification window will only be open for a duration of five days. Additionally, students can apply for scanned photocopies of their evaluated answer sheets beginning on the 19th day after the result's declaration. This particular facility will remain available for a mere two days, concluding at the end of the 20th day following the result declaration.

Likewise, the re-evaluation of answer sheets will commence on the 24th day after the result's declaration, with this option also being accessible for only two days. At the conclusion of the 25th day following the result declaration, this facility will no longer be available.
