The Central Board of Secondary Education has postponed the CBSE 2026 examination papers for Classes 10 and 12 that were scheduled for 3 March 2026. The board attributes the postponement to administrative reasons, while the overall schedules for both grades across the country remain unchanged. The revision only impacts exams that were originally planned for 3 March 2026.

CBSE states that all other papers will proceed according to the previously issued timetable. The rescheduling affects a small number of Class 10 language and elective papers and one specialized Class 12 subject.
