Beginning on August 18, 2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education will accept LOC applications for the CBSE Board Exams 2024. You can check the official notice addressing this at cbse.gov.in, the CBSE's official website.
The submission of candidate lists for Class 10, 12 will commence and may be done using the e-Pariksha link on the official website. The deadline for applying for a LOC is September 18, 2023 without late fees and September 19, 2023 with late fees. To prevent any future issues for the students, the schools must fill out the correct student data.

The newly connected schools with CBSE must first enter their information on the OASIS portal before submitting it on the HPE portal. They can provide LOC data after these tasks are finished. After the form has been completed and submitted, CBSE will not permit changes to the declared section or student strength.
Additionally, the Board has mandated that before the final submission of LOC, schools must submit the pictures of their Class 9 and Class 11 registrants. According to the official announcement, candidates for the private/second chance compartment will have a separate URL available for submitting the online form. In addition to the regular fee specified in the notice, there is a late fee of 2000 rupees per candidate. For schools in India and Nepal, the practical fees for Class 12 are 150/- each practical subject per applicant, and 350/- per practical subject per candidate for schools abroad. The cost of the migration certificate is 350 per applicant. Candidates who are blind are excused from paying test costs for classes 10, 12. Candidates can visit the CBSE website for further information on this topic.
