On Tuesday, while interacting with teachers and students from across the country during a live interaction on the impending board exams, the education minister had stated that board exams for classes 10 and 12 will not be held in January-February and dates concerning the same will be announced later.
The Minister had also ruled out cancellation of 2021 board exams claiming it might result in students facing a lot of trouble in getting jobs and perusal of higher education in near future.
The board exams usually begin in January and conclude in March with practical's conducted first (January) followed by theory papers (Feb-Mar). The schedule, however, is likely to be effected owing to the COVID-pandemic.
The decision regarding announcement of CBSE Board Exams 2021 dates on December 31 is likely to put to rest all speculations and bring in more clarity among teachers, students and parents.
