CAT 2026 Registration Window Closing Soon: Apply by September 15
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 registration window is set to close soon. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore, which is conducting CAT 2026, will accept applications until September 15, 2026. Candidates who wish to appear for the management entrance examination should complete the registration process before the deadline.
The CAT 2026 application window opened on August 3, 2026. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on November 29, 2026, in three sessions. CAT scores are primarily used for admission to MBA and other postgraduate management programmes offered by the IIMs and are also accepted by several other business schools.
CAT 2026 Registration: Important Details
Candidates can complete the CAT 2026 application process through the official CAT portal. Applicants are required to register first and create a unique user ID and password. They can then log in to complete the application form, provide the required details, upload documents and pay the applicable registration fee.
Candidates should carefully review all information before submitting the form, as the application fee is non-refundable.

Candidates should avoid waiting until the last day to complete the application to prevent possible technical or payment-related issues.
CAT 2026 Correction Window
After the registration deadline, IIM Indore will provide a short correction window for candidates who have successfully registered and paid the application fee within the prescribed period.
The correction facility will be limited to selected fields. Candidates will be allowed to edit their photograph, signature and test city preferences.
Only candidates who have successfully completed CAT 2026 registration and paid the required fee within the application period will be eligible to use the correction facility.
CAT 2026 Exam Date
The CAT 2026 examination will be conducted on November 29, 2026, in three sessions. Candidates should regularly check the official CAT portal for further announcements related to the examination, admit card and test-centre details.
