Interested candidates aiming for admission into MBA and other postgraduate management programs must complete the online registration before the deadline. The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 is scheduled for November 24, 2025, and the registration window will remain open from July 29 to September 18, 2025. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and required documents before proceeding to apply.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025, a prestigious national-level entrance exam for admission to IIMs and top B-schools across India, has officially begun its registration process on July 29, 2025. Candidates aspiring to pursue MBA, PGDM, and other management programs can now apply online at iimcat.ac.in. The last date to register is September 18, 2025 (5:00 PM).

This year, IIM Kozhikode is conducting the exam. The CAT 2025 exam date is set for Sunday, November 24, 2025, and will be held in three sessions across various test centers in India.

CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
  • Final-year students can also apply.

CAT 2025 Exam Pattern:

Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Duration: 120 minutes (3 sections, 40 minutes each)

Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)

Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)

Quantitative Ability (QA)

Application Fee:

General/OBC: ₹2,400

SC/ST/PwD: ₹1,200

2. Click on "Register" and fill in basic details

3. Log in and complete the application form

4. Upload required documents (photo, signature, certificates)

5. Pay the application fee

6. Submit and download the confirmation page

Candidates are advised to carefully review the official notification, ensure the accuracy of details, and retain a copy of the submitted form for future reference. The CAT score is valid for admission to 20 IIMs and several non-IIM institutes across India.
