The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode is set to release the CAT 2025 Answer Key and Response Sheet today - 04 December, 2025 on the official website, iimcat.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the Common Admission Test held on November 30, 2025, will soon be able to download the provisional answer key, question paper PDF, and their individual response sheets for all three slots.

This year, CAT 2025 witnessed a massive turnout, reaffirming its status as the most competitive MBA entrance exam in India. Out of 2.95 lakh registered applicants, an impressive 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for the exam across 339 test centres in 170 cities, marking an attendance rate of approximately 86%-one of the highest in recent years, according to media reports.

Candidates must log in using their CAT user ID and password to download the documents.

The provisional answer key allows candidates to compare their responses, evaluate performance, and estimate their raw scores and expected percentile before the official results.

Once released, candidates can download the answer key by following these steps:

CAT 2025 Answer Key Objection Process

Along with the provisional answer key, IIM Kozhikode will also open the objection window. Candidates who find discrepancies in the answer key can raise objections by:

Providing valid explanation/supporting documents
Paying the objection fee (refundable only if the objection is accepted)

After reviewing all objections, IIM Kozhikode will release the final answer key, which will lead to minor adjustments in the scores, if errors are found.

CAT 2025 Exam Overview

Duration: 120 minutes
Mode: Computer-based test

Marking Scheme:

+3 for each correct answer
-1 for each wrong MCQ
0 for non-MCQ incorrect responses

When Will CAT 2025 Results Be Declared?

Based on previous trends, CAT results are usually announced within three to four weeks of the answer key release. Therefore, CAT 2025 results are expected to be out during the final week of December 2025 or early January 2026.
