CAT 2016: IIM Bangalore may conduct the test

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will be conducting the Common Admission Test (CAT) for the academic year 2016.

As per the official reports from the CAT 2015 committee, IIM Bangalore is supposed to conduct CAT 2016 exam, and an official announcement in this regard is likely to be released by the end of May or early June.

Confirming the news IIM Bangalore professor said, " It's true. IIM Bangalore will conduct the test. I have been hearing this for some time now."

"The official CAT committee meeting will be held in the last week of May or in the first week of June, where IIM Ahmedabad will handover the responsibilty to the respective institute to conduct CAT 2016," said Professor Tathagata Bandyopadhyay, a member of the CAT 2015 committee.

In 2014, the TCS had signed a five-year deal with the IIMs to organise the test and this year also Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will continue to be the teat-taking agency.

CAT exam 2016 notification is expected to be released in in the month of July or August whereas the CAT exam will be conducted in October or November 2016.
