Internship Opportunities for Youth:

A new scheme will provide internship opportunities to 1 crore youth in collaboration with 500 top companies. Interns will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 5,000 and a one-time assistance of Rs 6,000. Companies involved will cover training costs and contribute 10% of these expenses from their CSR funds. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and employment, offering young individuals exposure to real-life work environments.

Employment Generation and Skilling Initiatives:

The government plans to create approximately 4.1 crore jobs over the next five years, with an allocation of Rs 2 lakh crore to support this ambitious goal. This investment highlights the commitment to addressing unemployment and fostering economic growth.
Additionally, a plan to skill 20 lakh youth over five years has been announced, with Rs 1.48 crore allocated for this purpose. This initiative aims to equip young individuals with the necessary skills for employment in various sectors.

Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) Upgrade:

The government will upgrade 1,000 industrial training institutes (ITIs) to enhance the quality of vocational training, better preparing students for the job market.

Support for First-Time Employees:

A one-time wage incentive for all first-time employees across all sectors will be provided through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This initiative ensures new employees receive financial support as they enter the workforce for the first time.

Summary Employment, skilling, MSMEs, and the middle class are key focus areas in this Budget. The comprehensive approach aims to provide young individuals with practical experience, improve their employability, and support their transition into the workforce. By investing in both job creation and skill development, the government seeks to build a stronger foundation for India's future economic growth.
