BSF Recruitment 2020 For 317 Group B And C Posts, Apply Offline Before March 15

The Border Security Force (BSF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, has invited applications in a prescribed format from eligible Indian nationals (male only) for filling 317 Group B and C Combatised posts in various capacities comprising SI Master, SI Engine Driver, SI Workshop, HC Master, HC Engine Driver, Mechanic, Electrician, Ac Technician, Electronics, Machinist, Carpenter, Plumber and CT Crew through direct recruitment to be posted Water Wing of BSF.

The offline applications process towards the same starts from February 15, 20202 and closes on March 15, 2020.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Group B and C posts through BSF Recruitment 2020 must have attained 20 years of age and not be more than 28 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved categories as per the BSF and Govt. of India norms.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 200 (SI Master, SI Engine Driver, SI Workshop) and Rs. 100 (HC Master, HC Engine Driver, CT Crew) as examinaton fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD)/Postal Order as specified in the advertisement. SC/ST/BSF and Ex-SM candidates, however, are exempted from paying the fee.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Group B and C posts through BSF Recruitment 2020 must have passed Class 10/Matriculation/SSLC or equivalent; Class 12/Intermediate or equivalent; Diploma in relevant trade from a recognised Board/Institute and possess relevant Certificate in the concerned area as specified in the notification besides meeting the physical-cum-medical standards as detailed in the advertisement.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Group B and C posts through BSF Recruitment 2020 will be done based on the candidates' performance in the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test/Exam (those who quality PST & PET) and Medical Examination.

Candidates selected as Group B and C posts through BSF Recruitment 2020 will be paid emolument in the range of Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month as per the designation.
