Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Must possess two years of work experience in the relevant trade or an ITI certificate in the concerned trade.

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 25 years (Age relaxation as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen)

Nationality:

• Must be an Indian citizen

BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025: Application Fee

The Border Security Force (BSF) has announced the recruitment of 3,588 Constable (Tradesman) posts for 2025. Along with eligibility and selection criteria, candidates must also be aware of the application fee, payment process, and physical standards required for final selection.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹100/-
• SC / ST / Female / Ex-Servicemen: Exempted (No Fee)

Note: The fee is non-refundable and must be paid within the application deadline.

Upon successful payment, candidates must save the payment receipt and ensure the status reflects in their application form.

Physical Standards for BSF Constable (Tradesman)

1. Height Requirements

• Male (General/SC/OBC): 167.5 cm
• Male (ST): 162.5 cm
• Female (General/SC/OBC): 157 cm
• Female (ST): 154 cm

2. Chest (Only for Male Candidates)

• General/SC/OBC: 78 cm (unexpanded) and 83 cm (expanded)
• ST: 76 cm (unexpanded) and 81 cm (expanded)

3. Weight

• Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Note:

Candidates must qualify the Physical Standards Test (PST) to move forward in the recruitment process. Failing PST will lead to disqualification, regardless of performance in written or trade tests.
