Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Must possess two years of work experience in the relevant trade or an ITI certificate in the concerned trade.

Age Limit:

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 25 years (Age relaxation as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen)

Nationality:

Must be an Indian citizen

Physical Standards for BSF Constable (Tradesman)

1. Height Requirements

Male (General/SC/OBC): 167.5 cm
Male (ST): 162.5 cm
Female (General/SC/OBC): 157 cm
Female (ST): 154 cm

2. Chest (Only for Male Candidates)

General/SC/OBC: 78 cm (unexpanded) and 83 cm (expanded)
ST: 76 cm (unexpanded) and 81 cm (expanded)

3. Weight

Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.

Note:

Candidates must qualify the Physical Standards Test (PST) to move forward in the recruitment process. Failing PST will lead to disqualification, regardless of performance in written or trade tests.
