The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the deadline for submitting examination forms for the Class 10 Matric and Class 12 Intermediate Annual Examination 2027. Under the revised schedule, schools and colleges can complete the online examination form submission and fee payment process until October 15, 2026.

BSEB has also opened a special registration and permission application window for students who could not complete their registration during the earlier phase. Eligible students can complete the process through their respective schools or colleges from October 1 to October 6, 2026, with the prescribed late fee.
The additional registration facility is intended for students who missed the earlier registration deadline for the annual examination. The special window will remain open for six days, from October 1 to October 6.
The registration and examination-form process is handled through the heads of the respective educational institutions. Students should therefore contact their school or college authorities instead of trying to submit the examination form independently.
For Intermediate Class 12 students, the online registration and fee process is available through the Intermediate Bihar Board portal. For Matric Class 10 students, the process is carried out through the designated secondary examination portal.
| Activity | Revised Date |
| Special registration and permission application for missed candidates | October 1-6, 2026 |
| Extended Class 10 and Class 12 examination form submission | October 1-15, 2026 |
| Last date for examination form and fee submission | October 15, 2026 |
The extended deadline applies to students who are scheduled to appear in the Bihar Board annual examinations in 2027.
The board has specified that the examination forms will be completed online by the heads of schools and colleges. Students should provide the required information and documents to their respective institution and confirm that their examination details have been entered correctly.
Before the final submission, students should carefully verify details such as their name, date of birth, subjects and other academic information. They should also confirm that the prescribed examination fee has been paid and the form has been successfully submitted.
Students who did not complete the earlier BSEB registration should approach their school or college immediately. The institution can submit the required online registration and permission application between October 1 and October 6 by paying the applicable late fee.
After completing registration, students also need to ensure that their annual examination form is submitted within the extended window ending October 15. Missing either deadline could affect their eligibility to appear for the 2027 annual examination.
The extended deadline provides additional time to educational institutions to complete the examination formalities for registered Class 10 and Class 12 students. At the same time, the special registration window gives eligible students who missed the earlier process another opportunity to complete registration with a late fee.
The Bihar Board 2027 examination schedule or detailed date sheet has not been announced in this extension update. Students should not confuse the current examination-form deadline with the actual board examination dates.
Candidates and their parents should stay in touch with the concerned school or college and regularly check the official BSEB portals for further announcements concerning the 2027 Matric and Intermediate examinations, admit cards, examination dates and other instructions.
With the revised deadline, schools and colleges now have until October 15, 2026 to complete the Bihar Board Class 10 and Class 12 examination form submission and fee payment process. Students who missed the initial registration stage should make use of the special October 1-6 window without waiting until the last date.
