The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has formally declared the results for the Class 10 Matric Examination 2025. This year, a total of 5,10,789 students registered for the BSE Odisha Class 10 examinations. Out of these, 5,02,470 students appeared for the exams held between February 21 and March 6, 2025. A remarkable 4,84,863 students successfully cleared the examination, marking an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.93%.

Girls Perform Better Than Boys

The gender-wise analysis of the results reflects a continued trend of strong academic performance by female students. Out of the total pass count, 2,44,612 girls passed the examination with a pass percentage of 96%, outperforming 2,40,251 boys, who recorded a pass percentage of 94%. Digital Certificate Download

In a move to enhance accessibility and reduce dependency on physical documents, BSE Odisha has made Class 10 digital certificates available through two convenient channels:

• WhatsApp: Students can receive their certificates by sending "BSE / Hi" to the official number 7710058192. Upon verification, the certificate is sent directly to the student's mobile device.

• DigiLocker: Students may also log in to the DigiLocker app or website, go to the "Education" or "Results" section, select "BSE Odisha," and enter the necessary credentials (such as Aadhaar or roll number) to access and download their Class 10 marksheet.

These digital alternatives provide students with immediate, secure, and government-authenticated access to their academic records.

Access for Schools

While the results were formally announced at 4 PM in a press conference, the official result link for students was activated at 6 PM on the board's websites - bseodisha.ac.in and orissaresults.nic.in. School heads were allowed to download school-wise results using their school login credentials starting at 7 PM.
