The result for Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) 2017 has been released by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).

The BTET 2017 exam results can be accessed from the official website: www.biharboard.ac.in.
When was BTET 2017 held?
The exam was conducted on July 23 at 348 exam centres across the state. Around 50,950 candidates had appeared for paper one which is conducted for class 1 to 5 and more than 1 lakh candidates had appeared for paper two which is conducted for class 6 to 8.
Candidates qualified in Bihar TET
Almost 2.43 lakh candidates had applied for the BTET exam, out of which only 18 per cent of the candidates have qualified the test.
Why such a less pass percentage?
Because, more than 11 thousand candidates in the exam had been declared invalid. Some candidates who have appeared for the test from High School, Araria centre from Araria district complained that their results have been declared as invalid due to use of whitener.

- Log on to the official BSEB website: www.biharboard.ac.in
- Click on the BTET 2017 Result link.
- Enter your details such as application number and password.
- Click to submit
- The results will be displayed on the screen
- Save it to your computer and take a print out of it for future reference
Cut off percentage
The cut off for unreserved categories was 60 per cent while for candidates belonging to SC or ST category the cut off was 50 per cent. For candidates in BC1 and BC2 categories, the cut off was 55 per cent.
