The Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission (BPSSC), under Govt. of Bihar, has called for online applications from eligible and interested individuals (male and female) for filling 2,213 vacancies to the post of Sub-Inspector and Sergeant through direct selection on a fulltime basis to be posted in the Home (Police) Dept., Patna in Bihar, India. The registration-cum-application process towards the same started on August 16, 2020, and closes on September 24, 2020.

Bihar Police BPSSC Notification: Age And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Sub-Inspector and Sergeant post through BPSSC Notification 2020 must have completed 20 years of age as on January 1, 2020 and not be more than 37 years (UR/GEN - Male), 40 (OBC/EBC - Male and Women - UR/Gen) and 42 years (SC/ST - Men and Women) respectively as specified in the notification.

Candidates must remit a prescribed amount of Rs. 700 (Gen/EWS/BC and EBC -Men and Women) and Rs. 400 (SC/ST - Men and Women) respectively as application fee for Sub-Inspector and Sergeant post through BPSSC Notification 2020 through online (net-banking/credit/debit) mode or any other mode as applicable.

The selection of candidates as Sub-Inspector and Sergeant post through BPSSC Notification 2020 will be done through a Written Test comprising of Preliminary Test, Main Exam, PST/ PET & Merit List.
