The Bihar Board Class 10 Social Science exam was cancelled due to the question paper leak. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has conducted the Social Science exam on Friday, February 19 in the first shift. The BSEB has decided to reconduct the Bihar Class 10 Social Science paper for a total of 8,46,504 students on March 8 in the first shift.

The Board found that a photo of the Class 10 Social Science question paper of the first shift being circulated on WhatsApp in the Jamui District before the commencement of the exam. An FIR has been lodged by the Board. The investigation by the Bihar Board found that the Class 10 Social Science question paper was taken out in the State Bank of India (SBI), Jhajha.
The sources suggest that the paper was leaked by Vikas Kumar, a contract worker from SBI Jhujha Branch. He shared the image of the question paper with his relative who's appearing for BSEB Class 10 Board exam 2021. Along with Vikas Kumar, three other bank employees of SBI also taken into custody due to negligence.
Around 17 lakh candidates have enrolled for BSEB Class 10 annual academic exams 2020-21. The Bihar Board Class 10 exams scheduled between February 17 and 24, 2021. The Bihar Board Class 10 Social Science first shift exam will be held on March 8.
