The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has released a recruitment notification for Stipendiary Trainees. Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply for the training in BARC and AERB in Mumbai. The notification was released for a total of 224 vacancies. The duration of the training is two years. Candidates who meet all the prerequisites set by the organisation can apply online until August 20, 2018.

Educational Qualification
For Category I: Diploma is required in relevant disciplines. For physics and chemistry disciplines, candidates must have a graduate degree in the respective subjects. However, a minimum of 60% aggregate is required besides mathematics at 10+2 level.
For Category II: 10+2 or equivalent for plant operator and laboratory posts. However, class 10 graduates who have an ITI certificate are required for other posts.
Age Limit
Category I: The minimum age is 19 years and the maximum age is 24 years.
Category II: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 22 years.
Stipend
The total duration of the training period is two years. The stipend during the training period will be INR 16,000 for the first year and INR 18,000 for the second year in category I. For category II, it is INR 10,500 for the first year and INR 12,500 for the second year.
Application Fee
INR 150 for the posts of category I.
INR 100 for the posts of category II.
