Assam Recruitment 2021 For Over 24,000 Vacancies In Education Department, Check Details

The Assam government has decided to fill 24,385 vacancies in the state Education Department for teaching posts in primary and secondary institutions. The candidates will be eligible for these posts after qualifying in the TET exam. The TET Assam Recruitment 2021 online application process is expected to begin from 01 September 2021.

There are a total of 22,921 vacancies in the Assam Education Department out of which 10,000 posts are in Primary Education and 12,921 posts are in Secondary Education.

Furthermore, a Special Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) will be held to fill 1,464 job openings reserved for ST (Hills) as well as for recruitment in Bodo, Garo, and Manipuri medium schools under the Assam education department.

According to the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the state Education Department will launch a mega recruitment drive. The CM tweeted, "Decisions taken in our weekly Cabinet meeting today will provide relief to Gorkha community, ensure land rights of indigenous people, initiate major recruitment drive in Education Dept including appointment in Bodo, Garo, and Hindi mediums, etc."
