Assam Police, APRO, Assam Commando Battalions, DGCD & CGHG, Prison Department, and Directorate of Forensic Science have released eleven formal notifications regarding the recruitment of various 5325 vacancies under Assam Police, APRO, Assam Commando Battalions, DGCD & CGHG, Prison Department, and Directorate of Forensic Science. Age Limit

Candidates applying for the role should ensure that they are under the age of 50. The eligibility date is established at January 1, 1973 or later. There are several exceptions to the upper age limit for certain types of candidates. There is a 5-year relaxation for candidates from the SC, ST(P), and ST(H) categories. Furthermore, candidates that fall into the OBC/MOBC category are eligible for a three-year age reduction.

Selection Process

The selection process for the post of Constable, Sub Inspector, Driver Constable, and other posts in various departments consists of multiple stages, which are Physical Test and Written Exam. Salary

Constable: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5,600/- (PB-2), along with other applicable allowances.
Head Constable: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/-, with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6,800/- (PB-2).
Sub-Inspector: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- (PB-2), along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/-.
