Assam Police Recruitment 2019 For Sub-Inspectors (Communication) In APRO

The Assam Police under the Govt. of Assam has released a notification inviting applications from eligible candidates (Male and Female) for filling 68 vacancies to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Communication) in the Assam Police Radio Organisation (APRO) to be appointed across the State of Assam. The online application process towards the same will start from 01 February 2019 and will close on 28 February 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Sub-Inspectors (Communication) through the Assam Police Recruitment 2019 must have attained 20 years of age as on 01 January 2019, and not exceeded 24 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit by 5 and 3 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and OBC/MOBC candidates, respectively.

Educational Criteria

Candidates applying for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Communication) in APRO through the Assam Police Recruitment 2019 must possess a B.Sc. Degree (Electronics Science/Computer Science/IT) or a 3-year Diploma in Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication/Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/ Instrumentation or equivalent from State Polytechnic with minimum 2 years work experience in the field of Electronics, IT, Telecom or allied discipline, etc. For more details refer to the official Assam Police notification below.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Sub-Inspector of Police (Communication) in APRO through the Assam Police Recruitment 2019 will be done through a written test of 3 hours in OMR format comprising three sections - (1) Logical Reasoning, Aptitude and Comprehension (2) Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India, and (3) General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

Candidates selected as Sub-Inspector will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs.14,000/- Rs. 49,000/- per month.
