The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), under Govt. of Assam, has invited applications in a prescribed format from qualified and interested candidates who are permanent residents of Assam for filling 65 vacancies to the post of ITI Instructors on contract in multiple trades comprising Welder, Fitter, Mechanic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Wireman, Electrician, COPA, Painter, Drawing Instructor, Mathematics Instructor, etc, through a 'Walk-in-Interview' process scheduled from October 1 to October 23, 2019 from 9:30 am onwards at ITI Guwahati, Gopinath Nagar, Opp. B. Barooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati, Assam - 781016.

Age Criteria And Fees
Candidates interested in applying for ITI Instructors post through Assam Govt Jobs must have attained 21 years of age and not be more than 45 years as on January 1, 2019, with relaxation (upper age limit) for SC/ST and OBC candidates as applicable.

Educational Criteria And Experience
Desirous candidates applying for ITI Instructors post through Assam Govt Jobs must possess a Degree/Diploma in relevant engineering disciplines; B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT; BBA/MBA in relevant discipline/subject from a recognised University/Board with desirable work experienced in the relevant domain as detailed in the advertisement.
Selection And Pay Scale
The selection of candidates for ITI Instructors post through Assam Govt Jobs will be done based on the candidates performance in the 'Walk-in-Interview' scheduled from October 1 to October 23, 2019 from 9:30 am
Candidates shortlisted for ITI Instructors post through Assam Govt Jobs will be paid an emolument of Rs. 14,000 per month.
