The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India has invited applications in a prescribed format from eligible and qualified candidates for recruiting 19 Junior Administrative Officers on deputation basis to be appointed at its various offices in India. The application process towards the same will start from 02 February 2019 and will close on 15 March 2019.

The recruitment against the number of vacancies will be for regions comprising Aizawl Circle (01), Aurangabad Circle (01), Chennai Circle (01), Dharwad Circle (01), Goa Circle (01), Hyderabad Circle (01), Mumbai Circle (01), Ranchi Circle (01), Shimla Circle (01), Srinagar Circle (01), Thrissur Circle (01), Vadodara Circle (01), Director-IA, Delhi (01), Epigraphy Branch, Chennai (01), Excavation Branch, Patna (01), Excavation Branch, Bhubaneswar (01), Director- Science, Dehradun (01), TSP, Chennai (01) and TSP, Bhopal (01).

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Junior Administrative Officers through ASI Recruitment 2019 must meet the age criteria as detailed in the notification, with relaxations in the upper age limit to the reserved categories as per the ASI rules and Govt. of India policy.

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Junior Administrative Officers through ASI Recruitment 2019 must possess a Bachelors' Degree from the recognized University/Institution and must have undergone training of duration of minimum 4 weeks in Administration, Vigilance and Accounts matters.

He/she must be holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department, with 2 years of experience in Accounts, Administration or Establishment work in a Government office or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous body or Statutory body.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Junior Administrative Officers through ASI Recruitment 2019 will be done based on the academic cum work credentials of the candidates as well as interview.

Candidates selected as Junior Administrative Officers will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/- per month.
