Arrears of Post-Doctoral/Doctoral Fellowships - Extension of Last Date

Regarding the Arrears of Post-Doctoral/Doctoral scholarships, the University Grants Commission, commonly addressed as UGC India; has released a notice. The notice states that by July 8, 2024, the stakeholders must make their claims for any outstanding balances, such as fellowships, house rent allowances, and contingencies acceptable through March 2024, using the Scholarship Fellowship Management Portal (SFMP).

To extend the window for claiming unpaid balances, UGC has received multiple requests. And so, it has been decided to move the deadline forward to July 8, 2024. An official notification has been issued by the Secretary, Prof. Manish R. Joshi in the aforementioned subject matter. It is advised that the people concerned should pay heed to it before the last date, to avoid any sort of chaos.

Earlier, the last date to apply for the Arrears of Post-doctoral/ Doctoral Scholarships was February 8, 2024. The authority has received an immense number of requests for the extension of the last date to pay the dues. The authority has now decided to give an extension of date and the people under consideration are requested to pay their balances before July 8, 2024.
