The Indian Army through the Army Ordnance Corps (AOC), under the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates for filling 920 Civilian (Group C) vacancies in various trades comprising Tradesman Mate (561), Material Assistant (11), Lower Division Clerk (110), Fireman (61), Cook (5), Stenographer Grade 2 (02), Safaiwala (26), Messanger (14), Washerman (02), Gardener (01), Female Searcher (04), Armourer (02), Tele Operator (02), CMD-OG (02), Saddler (01), Fitter (01), Vender (03), Barber (01), Tin and Copper Smith (01), Vehicle Machine (01), Tailor (01), Painter and Decorator (01), Carpenter and Joiner (03) and Electrician (02) posts through direct recruitment to be posted at the ordnance units of Southern Command of Army in Pune. The application process towards the same starts from December 16, 2019 and closes on January 15, 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for Civilian posts under Army Ordnance Corps must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 27 years, with relaxation (upper age limit) for reserved candidates as per AOC guidelines.

Educational Criteria And Eligibility

Desirous candidates applying for Civilian posts under Army Ordnance Corps must passed Class 10/Matriculation or equivalent; 10+12/Class 12/HSC or equivalent; Graduation or equivalent from a recognised University/Institution as specified in the notification.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates for Civilian posts under Army Ordnance Corps will be done through Shortlisting, Personality Test and Skill Test.

Candidates selected for Civilian posts under Army Ordnance Corps will be paid emolument in the scale of Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,000 per month.
