The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited applications from Indian nationals for filling 65 Assistant Engineer (Civil) vacancies at its end. Candidates can submit the duly filled applications through the off line mode by 02 February 2019. The recruitment of Assistant Engineers (Civil section) will be for the Department of Water Resource with the Government of Assam.
Candidates applying for the post must be a permanent resident of Assam and must possess a voter ID card to show permanent residency or the candidate's parents must be a voter of Assam and hold a valid Voter ID as proof of permanent residence. All applications should be submitted through the off line mode only.

Age And Educational Criteria
Candidates seeking application for the post of AE (Civil) should be 21 years of age and have not exceeded 38 years as on 01-01-2018. However, candidates falling under categories - SC/ST/OBC/MOBC are granted a relaxation as per the government order.
Candidates applying should have passed/obtained a BE degree in Civil Engineering from any Indian or Foreign University recognized by the government through All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or must have qualified A and B parts of the Associate Membership Examination of the institution of Engineers (AMIE) India, and must have secured a certificate from the Institution of Engineers (IEI), India duly recognised by the government through AICTE.
The selected candidates will be paid a salary in the pay band of Rs. 30,000/- to 110,000/- per month alongside other allowances.
Application Fee And Payment
The applicants are required to pay a prescribed fee of Rs. 250/- for GM and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates as part of the application fee for the posts. However, candidates possessing a BPL certificate are exempted from payment of fees on furnishing a COPY of the same along with the application form.
The prescribed fees should be deposited only through a Treasury Challan (TC). It should be named after the Head of Account entitled "NON TAX REVENUE, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC APPLICATION FEE RECEIPT OF APSC" and must contain the post name and department applied under.
The Original copy of Treasury Challan (TC) should be submitted along with the application form.

The applicant must write the name of the post applied for in "BOLD LETTERS" on the envelope containing the application form and all other necessary documents/testaments/credential copies, and send it to the Deputy Secretary, APSC, Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022 before 02 February, 2019.
