APPSC Recruitment For Town Planners And Building Overseers; Application Starts From 19 February 2019

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, through a official notification release has called for applications in online format from eligible and qualified candidates for recruiting 18 Town Planning and Building Overseer under A.P. Town and Country Planning Subordinate Service. The online application process towards the same will start from 19 February 2019 and will close on 13 March 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Town Planners and Building Overseers through APPSC Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 42 years as on 01 July 2019, with relaxation (upper age limit) up to 47 years for BC categories and 52 years for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates must remit a fee of Rs. 250/- towards processing of application and Rs. 80/- towards examination through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit, etc.) mode only. SC/ST/BC categories and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying exam fee of Rs. 80/- only.

Educational Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Town Planners and Building Overseers through APPSC Recruitment must possess a Diploma in D.C.E./L.C.E./L.A.A awarded by AP Board of Technical Education, or must possess a Degree in B.Arch, or B.E/B. Tech (Civil)/B Planning/B. Tech (Planning) from a University/Institute established by law and duly registered under the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Town Planners and Building Overseers through APPSC Recruitment will be done through a competitive examination (Computer Based Examination), likely to be held on 21 May 2019 and Interview.

Candidates selected as Town Planners and Building Overseers will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 22,460/- to 66,330/- per month.
