The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), through a notification release, has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruiting 430 Forest Beat Officers (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officers (ABO), including carry forward as well as fresh vacancies under the A.P. Forest Sub Service to be appointed across the State of Andhra Pradesh. The application process towards the same will start from 05 March 2019 and will close on 27 March 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Forest Beat Officers (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officers (ABO) through APPSC Recruitment must have attained 18 years of age and not exceeded 30 years as on 01 July 2019, with relaxation (upper age limit) by 5 years (upto 35 years) for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

Candidates must pay a specified amount of Rs. 250/- as application fee and Rs. 80/- towards examination through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit, etc. payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/BC candidates are exempted from paying examination fee of Rs. 80/- as mentioned in the notification.

Educational Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Forest Beat Officers (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officers (ABO) through APPSC Recruitment must have passed Intermediate Examination/HSC/Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised Board, and must meet the Physical as well as Medical Standards as detailed in the notification given at the end of the article.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Forest Beat Officers (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officers (ABO) through APPSC Recruitment will be done through a Written Test (Computer Based Examination) to be conducted in August 2019 and a Personal Interview.

Candidates selected as Forest Beat Officers (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officers (ABO) will be paid an emolument as under:

Forest Beat Officers (FBO) - Rs. 16,400/- to Rs. 49,870/- per month

Assistant Beat Officers (ABO) - Rs. 15,030/- to Rs. 46,060/- per month

How To Apply

Candidates applying for the post of Forest Beat Officers (FBO) and Assistant Beat Officers (ABO) through APPSC Recruitment must first register online on the official APPSC portal at https://psc.ap.gov.in/(S(k1mwnr3gubcm4ik1go21axy5))/Default.aspx through OTR.

Using the ID generated through OTR, candidates must fill the application form and submit it through the online mode on or before 27 March 2019.
