APPSC Recruitment 2019 For Forest Section Officers; Earn Up To INR Rs. 63,000/- Per Month

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released a notification inviting online applications from eligible Indian nationals for recruiting 50 (48 Fresh and 2 Carry Forward) Forest Section Officers under A.P. Forest Sub Service to be placed across the State of Andhra Pradesh. The application process towards the same will start from 26 February 2019 and will close on 20 March 2019.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Forest Section Officers through APPSC Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on 01 July 2019 and not exceeded 30 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 35 years for SC/ST and OBC candidates.

Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs. 250/- towards application processing, and Rs. 80/- as examination fee through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST and Backward Class candidates are only exempted from payment of examination fee of Rs. 80/- as detailed in the notification.

Educational Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Forest Section Officers through APPSC Recruitment 2019 must possess a Bachelor's Degree with Forestry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Horticulture/ Agriculture/ Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Geology as a subject, or hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University established by law and recognized by the UGC.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Forest Section Officers through APPSC Recruitment 2019 will be done based on a Written Examination (Computer Based Test) to be held in August 2019 and an Interview.

Candidates selected as Forest Section Officers will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 21,230/- to Rs. 63,010/- per month
