APPSC Recruitment 2019 For Food Safety Officer; Earn Up To INR 78,000 Per Month

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has released an official notification inviting applications in the online mode from eligible and qualified candidates for filling 22 Food Safety Officer (FSO) vacancies under A.P. Institute of Preventive Medicine, Public Health Laboratories and Food Administration Subordinate Service. The application process towards the same will start from 07 March 2019 and will close on 28 March 2019, with 27 March 2019 as the last date for paying fee, as prescribed.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Food Safety Officer (FSO) through APPSC Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age and not be more than 42 years as on 01 July 2019, with relaxation (upper age limit) by 5 years (upto 47 years) for SC/ST/BC candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates.

Candidates must pay a requisite amount of Rs. 250/- as application processing fee, and Rs. 80/- as examination fee through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit, etc. payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/BC/PWD and ExSM candidates are exempted from paying the exam fee (Rs. 80/-), but must pay the application processing fee.

Educational Criteria

Candidates interested in applying for the post of Food Safety Officer (FSO) through APPSC Recruitment 2019 must possess a Degree in Food Technology/Dairy Technology/Biotechnology/Oil Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Agricultural Science/Veterinary Sciences/Microbiology, or must hold a Master's Degree in Chemistry/Degree in Medicine from a recognised University/Institute established by Law.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Food Safety Officer (FSO) through APPSC Recruitment 2019 will be done on the basis of a Written Test (Computer Based Test) of competitive nature to be held on 22 May 2019 and Interview.

Candidates selected as Food Safety Officer (FSO) will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 28,940/- to Rs. 78,910/- per month.
