The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) through a notification has invited online applications from eligible and qualified candidates for filling 405 (95 Carry Forward and 310 Fresh posts) Lecturer vacancies in Government Polytechnic Colleges (Engineering and Non-Engineering) under A.P. Technical Education Service to be appointed across various zones in the State. The application process towards the same will start from 06 February 2019 and close on 27 February 2019.

The recruitment is for Lecturers in various engineering and non-engineering disciplines comprising Architecture, Auto Mobile, Commercial & Computer Practice, Ceramic Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, English, Garment Technology, Geology, Marine Engineering, Mathematics, Mining, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Pharmacy, Physics and Textile Technology.

Age Criteria And Fees

Candidates interested in applying for the above posts through APPSC Recruitment 2019 must have attained 18 years of age as on 01 July 2018 and not exceeded 42 years, with a relaxation in the upper age limit up to 47 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Candidates must pay a prescribed amount of Rs 250/- and Rs. 120/- (GEN) towards application processing and examination, respectively through online (Internet Banking/Debit/Credit payment gateways) mode only. SC/ST/BC/ExSM candidates are entitled to pay only the examination fee of Rs. 120/-

Educational Criteria And Experience

Desirous candidates applying for the post of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges (Engineering and Non-Engineering) through APPSC Recruitment 2019 must possess a PG/Master's/Graduate/Bachelor's Degree in appropriate engineering and non-engineering disciplines from an Institute/University recognized by UGC/AICTE.

Selection And Pay Scale

The selection of candidates as Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges (Engineering and Non-Engineering) through APPSC Recruitment 2019 will be done based on a Written Examination of competitive nature (CBT) and Interview.

Candidates selected as Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges will be paid an emolument in the scale of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- per month with Annul Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-.
