National Thermal Power Corporation, NTPC has released a fresh notification for the Recruitment of 864 Engineering Executive Trainees (EET) through GATE 2022 Score. The selected 864 EET (Engineering Executive Trainee) will serve in various disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Civil and Mining among others. The pay scale of these posts can go up to rs 1,40,000 per month.
About the GATE Exam 2022
The GATE Exam will take place in the first half of February 2023 and the result will be declared on March 23, 2023. All the candidates who now apply for these NTPC posts and finally score enough in the GATE Exam will increase their chances of getting a reputed government job in NTPC. So please don't miss this opportunity.
Important Dates
- NTPC GATE Application Link will be available from 28 October to 11 November 2022.
- So make sure to apply before the last date of 11 November 2022.
- Moreover, be mindful that only GATE 2022 Exam applicants can apply for these posts as you'd need to fill in your GATE-2022 Registration Number to successfully apply.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants have to have B.E/B.Tech in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, as per respective Institute/University norms (55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the following subjects
Electrical Engineering - Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical, Instrumentation & Control/ Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Electronics/ Power Engineering.
Mechnical Engineering - Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engg./ Production & Industrial Engg./ Thermal/ Mechanical & Automation/ Power Engineering
Electronics Engineering - Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Power/ Power Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical & Electronics.
Instrumentation Engineering - Electronics & Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics, Instrumentation & Control.
Civil Engineering - Civil/ Construction Engineering
Mining Engineering - Mining
Training After Selection
- The selected candidates will be put on 1-year training at various places.
- The final place of posting will be decided after the completion of training.
- Candidates can be placed, across the country, in any projects/ stations, including Subsidiaries/JVs companies of NTPC, for shift operation of power plants and will be required to work in shifts (including night shift).
NTPC EET Vacancy Age Limit:
- Maximum Age fOR General/Unreserved/EWS candidates: 27 years
- SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-servicemen candidates will get the 'Upper Age-Limit' relaxation as per the government rules.
Pay Scale
- Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000
