Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited, MAHAGENCO is going to hire 661 people for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE) and Assistant Engineer (AE). 339 vacancies are there for the JE post whereas the rest 322 are for the AE post.

Age Limit

For Unreserved Applicants

No Minimum Age

Maximum Age: 38 years

The cut-off date to determine age is 17 December 2022

5 years of relaxation in upper age will be given to Reserved category Applicants.

For Physically handicapped/Sports Quota/Project Affected Persons/Ex-Servicemen Applicants the upper age limit will be 45 years

Selection Process for Maharashtra Mahagenco Engineer Vacancy 2022

An online Written Exam will be held, tentatively in January 2023, and candidates will be shortlisted based on their performances in that exam. The exam will include questions from Degree/Diploma course mentioned under the respective stream.

General Category Examinees will need at least 30% of marks, and reserved category ones a minimum of 20% marks, to pass the Written Exam. The Result - list of selected candidates - will be published on the official website at www.mahagenco.in.

Salary

During the training period of 1 year

Graduate Engineer Trainees: Rs. 22,000/- per month

Diploma Engineer Trainees: Rs. 18,000/- per month.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Instrumentation of Control Engineering / Power System and High Voltage Engineering/Power Electronics Engineering/ Power Engineering/ Electrical & Power Engineering.

Instrumentation Stream

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation of Control Engineering /Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering/ Electronics and Power Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognised University.

Junior Engineer

Mechanical Stream

Diploma in Mechanical from a recognised Institute

Electrical Stream
