Indian Oil Corporation Limited, IOCL has invited online applications to fill up 465 posts of apprentice across various trade categories. This IOCL Vacancy drive aims to recruit manpower for its facilities in 5 regions of the country namely Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), and South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL).
A written exam will be held to shortlist candidates for final selection.

Eligibility Criteria
- Technician Apprentice - 3-year diploma in mechanical engineering
- Trade Apprentice (accountant) - B.com (regular and not distance mode) from a recognized institution
- Data entry operator(fresher apprentices) - you have to be 12th passed
- Domestic Data Entry Operator (skill certificate holders) - a minimum 12th pass (but below graduate). Additionally, candidates should possess a Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator‟ for the training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognised under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognised by the Central Govt.

Registration
Interested applicants first have to register themselves in the portals of the following agencies of the Central Government
For Technician Apprentices:
Go to the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and Register with the concerned Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT).

- Now go to the IOCL website at plapps.indianoil.in
- Scroll down the homepage and click on "Click Here for Active Opening"
- Click on the "Apprenticeship Opening" button
- Click on the "Engagement of Apprentices in Pipelines Division under The Apprentices Act, 1961"
- New User Press the Register Button down below, fill in the details and submit; already registered users can log in directly and apply
