IREL (Indian Rare Earths Limited) has floated applications for 17 Apprentice Vacancies across the Trade and Technician category. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts by 15 September 2022.

For those unaware, IREL is a Mini Ratna Category-I Central PSU (Public Sector Undertaking) under the Administrative Control of the Department of Atomic Energy.
Candidates having relevant qualifications like ITI/Diploma in concerned trades can apply for these posts. Once shortlisted, they will be called for document verification in the order of merit.

It is the Portal of the Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
For Diloma Holder/Technician Apprentices
- Candidates must register themselves at http://www.mhrdnats.gov.in
It comes under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme of MHRD.
Once registered, you can apply for the apprenticeship vacancy on the same site.

What is the difference between ITI and Diploma Courses?
- ITI (Industrial Training Institute) courses are short-term certificate courses meant for learning vocational skills just after class 8 or 10 and looking for jobs in small/medium scale industry as a craftsman.
- Whereas, Engineering/Polytechnic colleges offer diplomas in a particular branch of engineering that is pursued by students after passing class 10th or 12th.
