AP TET 2026 Notification Out: Applications Begin Today; Fees, Hall Ticket & Result Timeline Announced

Candidates aspiring to become teachers in Andhra Pradesh can now begin their application process as the Department of School Education has officially released the AP TET 2026 notification. The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) serves as a mandatory eligibility examination for candidates seeking teaching opportunities in government schools across the state.

Who Can Apply?

AP TET is designed for candidates seeking teaching eligibility across different school levels.

• Paper I: For candidates aiming to teach Classes 1 to 5
• Paper II: For candidates targeting Classes 6 to 8

Exam Pattern and Duration

The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

As per the announced schedule:

• Session I: 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon

Candidates will be able to access hall tickets from July 25, 2026 onwards through the official AP TET portal.

After the exam concludes:

• Preliminary answer key will be released on August 24
• Candidates can raise objections till August 31
• Final answer key is scheduled for September 8
• Results are expected on September 15, 2026
