The notification aligns with the Right to Education Act, focusing on Classes 1 to 8. Starting from February 8, candidates are invited to apply online for AP TET Feb-2024, with the application window closing on February 18.

AP TET 2024 Notification Released

The official notification for AP TET 2024 was released on February 8, 2024, on its designated website. From February 8, 2024, to February 18, 2024, interested candidates can submit their applications for AP TET Notification 2024 through online mode. Individuals aspiring to become teachers in government schools in Andhra Pradesh are advised to commence their preparations promptly. The AP TET Exam for 2024 is scheduled to take place from February 27, 2024, to March 9, 2024.

How to Complete the AP TET Application Form 2024?

Candidates should follow the steps outlined below to fill out the AP TET application form for 2024

  • Visit the official website - aptet.apcfss.in.
  • Click on the 'Payment' link and proceed with the fee payment.
  • Upon successful payment, receive the 'Candidate ID.'
  • Click on the 'Candidate Login' link under the 'Application' tab.
  • Log in using the Candidate's ID, date of birth, and verification code.
  • Complete the APTET application form.
  • Upload the scanned image of the photograph.
  • Submit the AP TET application form.
  • Take a printout of the application form.

Educational Qualification

  • For Classes 1 to 5 (Paper 1-A): Candidates should have completed Intermediate with a minimum of 50% marks and possess a Diploma in elementary education or B.Ed. For Paper 1-B, an elementary diploma in special education is required.
  • For Classes 6 to 8 (Paper II-A): A candidate must hold a graduation degree with at least 50% marks and possess a B.Ed. For Paper II-B, candidates can either have a B.Ed. in Special Education or a General B.Ed. with 1 Special Education.

Age Limit

Applicants for AP TET must be at least 18 years old when submitting the application form, and there is no upper age limit for appearing in AP TET.

AP TET 2024 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for AP TET in 2024 outlines the structure of the question paper. The format of the AP TET exam pattern 2024 differs for Paper 1 (Part A & B) and Paper 2 (Part A & B). Both papers in the AP TET exam consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, totaling 150 marks. Candidates are allocated 150 minutes for each paper.
