Hyderabad, Dec 9: Bringing to an end the suspense over intermediate examinations, the Andhra Pradesh government said it would conduct the exams separately from March 11, without the involvement of Telangana.
"We have made all the efforts (to conduct the intermediate examinations with Telangana jointly). I spoke to the Telangana minister. Our secretary spoke to their secretary. Our chief secretary spoke to Telangana chief secretary.
Since it was not resolved, we brought it to Governor's notice. He called ministers and made a suggestion, but they did not agree. Since there is no alternative, we are preparing to conduct the examinations on March 11 as we mooted first," Andhra Pradesh HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said.
