Meet Vabirisetti Mohan Abhyas, son of a samosa seller, who despite all the odds, achieved the best. Abhyas has cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2017 with a score of 345 out of 360 marks by attaining All India Rank (AIR) 6 and also recently secured the first rank in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.
It does not matter from which family or economic background you come from. The thing that counts is the hard work and motivation you put in to achieve something in life and make it big. Abhyas rose above their grim financial circumstances, overcame all sorts of odds and defied stereotypes to top the exam.
The boy has also cleared the Telangana EAMCET by achieving the fifth rank in the examination. The TS EAMCET results were announced on Monday and four of the top five rank-holders in both engineering and medicine have an AP connection.
Mohan Abhay's father, Subba Rao, said that he is very happy with his son's results. Being a samosa maker by profession, Subba Rao said that he earned Rs 500 a day and aspires that his son fulfills his dream of becoming a scientist. Mohan too helps his parents in making samosas.
Now Mohan aims at joining B.E (Engineering Physics) in IIT Chennai based on JEE advanced exam that was held on May 21, 2017.
Against all odds, Mohan's ultimate goal is to become a scientist by doing research studies in physics.
