The Andhra Pradesh State Governor advisor Salauddin Ahmed released the state SSC / Class 10th exam results for the year 2014.
Around 88.62% of students passed the examination, out of which 87.82% were boys and 89.33% were girls.
Compared to last year's results, there is an increase of 0.54%.
A total of 10,12,581 students appeared for the SSC examination which consisted of 5,35,662 boys and 4,76,919 girls.
East Godavari district comes first with 96.26%, Kadapa district is in the second place and Warangal district is in the third place. With 68.31%, Adilabad district comes last in SSC results.
Overall, 5,784 schools across the state have secured 100% results. Only 77 schools have got zero percent results.
Around 326 government, 11 municipal, 183 residential schools have secured 100% in results.
SSC / class 10th examination was conducted from 26th March to 12th April 2014.
Board of Secondary Education (BSE) will conduct the supplementary examination from 16th June 2014.
Candidates who are not satisfied with the marks that they have obtained are allowed to send the answer sheets for recounting, retotalling till 30th May 2014.
