AMU to organise workshop on e-Commerce and Applications 2014

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), is all set to organise two day workshop on e-Commerce and Applications 2014. e-commerce is about performing commercial transactions electronically, especially over the Internet and other computer networks. Some drivers behind e-commerce are Data Networks, Intense Competition, Globalisation, Information age, Technologies, Automation, Low cost high quality products and services.

e-Commerce provides marketing benefits such as improved market analysis, product analysis, customer analysis, low-cost advertising and easy to create & maintain client database. Customer benefits like wide-scale information dissemination, wide selection of good products at low price, rapid inter-personal communications as well as wide access to assistance & advice from experts / peers not only save shopping time and money but also lead to faster services and delivery of products. This time the Annual Workshop of University Women's Polytechnic will be organised on e-Commerce and will bring together participants from academics and professionals, for a discussion on prospects & problems of e-commerce. The workshop theme is 'e-Commerce & Applications'
