Amity University has tied up with Global Education Management to collaborate on skilling and student exchange programmes ranging upto six months across business and hospitality subjects.
Vocational and practical training shall be provided for Indian students in the UK and British students in India.
The MoU was signed during the visit of British Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg to India.
Dr Vaskar Sengupta, Deputy Director, Amity School of Hospitality spoke on the agreement saying that students will save money spent on going to the UK for skill development and exchange programmes, as the GEM will facilitate visa, stay, etc and UK government will pay a monthly stipend to the students.
