Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) conducted Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) for various courses. Over 1,38,000 students qualified for the entrance exam. Candidates can check their result on the official website.

- Nearly 4711 students qualified for the BArch course, 196 for BPharma (diploma), 9773 for BPharma, 153 for BTech (BSc), 6639 for BTech (diploma), 94,965 for BTech/AG, 208 for BFA, 255 for BFAD, 424 for BHMCT, 7397 for Bio Tech, 8543 for MBA, 2971 for MCA and 2010 for MCA (lateral)

How many students appeared for the exam?
- More than 1,69,000 students applied for the test and 1,56,211 appeared for it. The university will make the answer sheets of first 100 toppers, including boys and girls, available online.
Toppers of AKTU UPSEE 2017:
- In B Tech course test, Prabhakar Bindal of Meerut is the topper, Rohan Gupta of Lucknow came second, while Divyansh Choudhary of Greater Noida stood third in the test.
State minister for technical education Ashutosh Tandon said the Uttar Pradesh government will give internet equipped tablets to first 100 girls who have topped the test at a press conference to announce the results at UP Vidhan Sabha building.
The prize will come under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' flagship scheme. PM Modi might give away the prizes in the event that will be held in October in Lucknow.
Over 800 institutes are affiliated to AKTU across the state, of which 93 colleges are in Ghaziabad and 75 in Gautam Budh Nagar.
